Regional dolls of Guillem Y Vicedo

Research is currently being carried out on these dolls by an historian in Spain. So far it is known that they were made by Guillem Y Vicedo. Research has been discussed with different doll museums, and the general conclusion is that these dolls belong to the period of 1962-1966, due to the material, paint, textiles, hair and accessories (such as combs, castanets and earrings).

This beautiful Lagarterana is missing an arm and her bag of lace cloth pieces, but she is fabulous nonetheless.

Wearing the distinctive Cordoba hat, and at 13 inches, she is larger than my other Guillem Y Vicedo dolls.

I would love to collect more. The Andaluza is holding castinets and the TinerfeƱa carries a basket of fruit just like her sister Marin Chiclana doll.
